Independent work for the public internet

An internet more
people can make.

DCP Foundation is developing open standards, free public infrastructure, and educational resources to help more people bring ideas to life and share useful work with their communities.

01 / Public benefit

More people creating.
More communities benefiting.

We want more people to participate in making the internet: to share knowledge, explore creative ideas, and build resources that enrich community life.

Our planned programs combine practical education, openly documented standards, and shared publishing infrastructure. Free access can give students, educators, volunteers, and people with limited resources a place to learn and contribute.

Stewardship of a shared resource

Our aim is to direct the foundation’s resources toward educational and charitable public benefit. Published eligibility and fair use policies will guide access to the service and help keep shared resources available to the wider community.

The foundation does not seek ownership of users’ work. Creators’ existing rights remain with them; publishing does not by itself make a work public domain or grant others permission to reuse it. Service terms will define the limited permissions needed to host and display projects.

02 / Our mission

More imagination deserves a place on the internet.

Everyone brings their own interests, experiences, and ideas. Creating with AI gives more people a way to explore them: to make something playful, share what they know, or build a tool their community will love.

Our purpose is to lower the remaining barrier between a working idea and something other people can actually use. We are developing a free public publishing service and the Deploy Context Protocol (DCP), so an agent can take a person’s creation online and give that person control of it.

Open publishing standards

The Deploy Context Protocol (DCP) is being developed as a common way for AI agents and other tools to put a project online and manage it.
